The Upper:
- Adidas introduced the ControlSkin synthetic upper, a lightweight and super durable material
- A slip on boot with a dynamic sock collar was used for a super locked in fit
- The upper featured diagonal lines in the instep and near the toe box, acting as a textured, "Pred" like element
The Sole Plate:
- Adidas introduced their "Boost" sole plate with the "ControlFrame" element
- The studs were a sort of jagged triangular like design for maximum cutting traction
Notes and Comments:
- The reincarnation of the Pred came in a bit of a strange fashion, a full slip on boot with a sock collar
- But the upper proved to feel very Pred like, with the grooves and diagonal design feeling very similar to the previous Pred Instinct design
