Adidas Predator X David Beckham Match Worn Training Boots LA Galaxy
Likely a lightly used training worn pair of David Beckham's Predator X from November 2009
The Specs:
- This was likely one of the first pairs of Predator X Beckham trialed with
- His Predator X boots were heavily modified compared to retial versions
- A full synthetic upper was used instead of the leather upper on retail models, a common spec only on Beckham's boots
- The stripes are made of a synthetic material as well, the reail specs used a translucent plastic material
- This variation uses the same Predator X heel cup on retial models, however Beckham would eventually switch his Predator X boots to having the Powerswerve heel cup in later models. Its very rare to find this heel cup since it was only used for less than a month before the modifications
- The sole plate uses the same stud configuration as the Predator Powerswerve model, a spec that all of Beckham's Predator X boots would use
- There is a custom flooring made to the exact specs of Beckham in the inside of the boot, as well as custom insoles from the Powerswerve that have been shaved down to remove the PowerPulse insert
- The right boot features a large Galaxy logo embossed on the tongue, under the laces
- The left boot has the number 23 embossed on the tongue
- Both boots feature his 3 kids at the time "Brooklyn Romeo Cruz" stitched onto the sides
- The heel features DB and V stitched on with an England flag on the left boot, USA flag on the right
- Custom sizing, made to the exact specs of Beckham's foot, no size tags
- The boots show signs of use along the sole plate, but very minimal. It is likely this is a training worn spec, not a match worn boot
