Adidas X 18+ Purespeed Blue FG
New without box, with bag and extra insoles
The Upper:
- Adidas rolled out a completely new speed boot in hopes of replacing the F50 line that was discontinued a few years back
- The upper used a new synthetic material called the SpeedMesh
- Overall the SpeedMesh was pretty lightweight and flexible, something Adidas had been lacking for a few years
- The X18 also featured a dynamic "claw" like collar for a locked in secure fit
The Sole Plate:
- Adidas used the SprintFrame sole plate, similar to the Adizero sole plate
- A few updates were made, including rounded studs towards the back for added traction
Notes and Comments:
- The X18+ was the closest boot to an Adizero Adidas produced since they discontinued the line
- The major difference to this + model was a fully slip on design, not using any laces
