Adidas X19.1 Blue Gold FG
New with box
The Upper:
- Adidas rolled out a completely new speed boot in hopes of replacing the F50 line that was discontinued a few years back
- The upper used a new synthetic material called the SpeedMesh
- Overall the SpeedMesh was pretty lightweight and flexible, something Adidas had been lacking for a few years
- The new 19.1 model used dozens of curved lines to create a ribbed like pattern throughout the upper
The Sole Plate:
- Adidas used the SprintFrame sole plate, similar to the Adizero soleplate
- A few updates were made, including rounded studs towards the back for added traction
Notes and Comments:
- The X19.1 was the closest boot to an Adizero Adidas produced since they discontinued the line
- The newly designed upper was very lightweight and the ribbed texture provided a better feel on the ball
