The Upper:
- An insanely lightweight synthetic material was used throughout the upper
- The upper featured virtually no stitching at all, just a small stitch along the heel cup in the lightest ever upper designed by Puma
- The "SpeedFrame" design used a diamond like mesh pattern along the instep for extra support, while keeping the boots super lightweight
The Sole Plate:
- This SL design used the lightest ever sole plate with a very minimal design to save on weight
- The sole plate was a one piece super lightweight plastic sole plate that had a wishbone like spine for maximum support
