The Upper:
- The clutchfit used a synthetic microfiber upper that was super lightweight and had a very similar feel to the Mercurials from the time
- The upper has a ribbed like material with hundreds of perforations to create added texture and a locked in fit throughout the boots
The Sole Plate:
- A one piece plastic soleplate was used with rounded plastic studs for maximum traction
- The heel cup and sole plate were rather nice, creating a secure fit that wasn't overly heavy or bulky
