Adidas F30.8 Black FG
New with box
The Upper:
- The F30.8 is one of the most popular "second tier" models from their time, featuring an identical synthetic upper to the top model Tunit
- A lightweight synthetic material was used that featured a see through plastic element near the outside and insteps
- The lace cover featured a velcro foldover tongue, the same specs as the Tunit
The Sole Plate:
- The main difference, and what made these boots popular was the sole plate
- A bladed TRX FG sole plate was used, for the most part identical to the previous F50+ model
Notes and Comments:
- If you recall, Messi had a heavily modified F50's that used this bladed TRX sole plate, instead of the new Tunit design with the chassis and screw in studs
- The F30 model was actually lighter than the F50 because it didn't have the same heavy sole plate as the tunit
- While the tunit was a unique design, the F30 ended up featuring the same upper and a bladed TRX sole plate that was preferred by many
