Adidas Tektral Liga Black FG
New with box
The Upper:
- A rather unique upper design for this mid tier late 90s model
- The upper used a calf leather material with a stitching pattern that created several large grooves along the sides of the boots
- The stripe design has some similarities to the touch design, but also uses a tongue that is similar to the Accel
- Look towards the heel cup on the back of the boots, there looks what appears to be a carbon fiber insert on the inside and outside of the heel cup
The Sole Plate:
- The sole plate was pretty standard for mid tier models from Adidas at this time
- The feel was similar to what was used on the touch, and rubber circular studs were used
Notes and Comments:
- The Tektral was produced in 98 but has some major similarities to Touch and Accel models
- The carbon fiber insert on the heel is a bit of a mystery, it doesn't really serve much purpose and strange it was used on a mid tier model
- Overall, a super classic and timeless design
