The Upper:
- The Hypervenom Phantom 3 featured a newly design upper that used the Flyknit material throughout
- The upper also featured dozens of lightweight foam pads in a diamond shape throughout the boots, creating one of the most prolific strike zones ever
- ACC "All Conditions Control" was used for maximum touch in all weather conditions
The Sole Plate:
- The sole plate featured a new "Hyper Reactive" design, featuring a one piece lightweight plastic sole plate
- The newly designed stud configuration was quite different than most Nike boots, the stud configuration used a combination of rounded studs and chevron studs for maximum traction while turning and cutting
Notes and Comments:
- A massive upgrade from the previous Hypervenom model, the Phantom 3 had one of the best uppers ever.
- A full flyknit material made them incredibly lightweight, but the added diamond pads creating the strike zone made these incredibly popular amongst pros
