The Upper:
- This indoor Talaria 365 model featured a full leather upper, most likely a calf leather material
- The inside of the boots around the sock liner is a super soft suede like material which makes them extra comfy
- The iconic wave like pattern along the sides of the boots is stitched on, a spec that was not on the Mercurial Vapor model, but a spec that R9 typically used on his boots
- This specific upper has a crackled leather like design, with a veiny texture throughout.
The Sole Plate:
- The Talaria 365 model was made to accommodate 365 degrees of support on all surfaces
- A newly designed rubber insole made these best suited for hard indoor surfaces, or practical for lifestyle wear
- If you look closely at the colored parts, they were designed as touch points for extra support in these areas of the foot
- On foot, you can certainly feel these touch points which may take some time getting used to
Notes and Comments:
- Such an insanely beautiful design by Nike on their top of the line indoor model
- The classic original MV1 is more of a collector item these days due to their fragileness, but these indoor models were so expertly made, they would 100% be suitable for daily wear
- The upper is a premium leather, and the rubber sole have both been preserved at perfect condition over the past 20 years, something not often seen
- They are rather narrow and tight fitting
