The Upper:
- A premium calf leather upper material was used throughout the Absolion
- The same exact 3 part rubber vamp element as the Absolute was used on the Absolion
- A foldover tongue with an elastic band was used
- The Absolion used a softer and lighter heel cup compared to the Absolute
The Sole Plate:
- A 2 piece sole plate with a bladed TRX stud configuration was used
- Overall, the Absolions sole plate was made of a slightly thinner plastic material
Notes and Comments:
- The Absolion is very similar to the top model Pred Absolute, with many of the same characteristics
- It's amazing how identical and high quality the second tier Absolion model was compared to the top end model, one of the best mid tier boots ever made
- The main difference is the softer heel cup but it does not make much of a difference in terms of a locked in fit
