Adidas Predator Pulse Prototypes SG
Left : Predator Pulse "Superlight"
Right : Predator Pulse, no elastic tongue
Condition Notes: unused condition, cracking and some discoloration on both sets of stripes
Left Boot:
- A Prototype Sample Predator Pulse unlike anything ever released
- The upper has a similar cosmetic look to the Pulse, but the performance specs are entirely different
- The entire upper is super thin all the way around, very little cushion or padding
- Near the stripes uses a gunmetal color instead of the darker black
- The tongue doesn't feature any Adidas branding
- The Pulse rubber element is nonexistent in this pair, there are 6 lines but they are just placeholders. The rubber element was never used on this
- The sole plate is substantially lighter and thinner, has a more translucent look as well
- This design weighs only 236g, nearly 1/3 the weight of retail
Right Boot:
- A later stage prototype design
- The upper uses a unique colorway that was never produced, using silver stripes and accents
- The tongue was similar to what was released, but did not feature the elastic that was used on retail models
- Weight of this design is 310g, for comparison above
