The Upper:

The Asics Tokyo model used a lightweight full grain leather upper throughout with a synthetic lining near the sock collar
The leather was rather thin and lightweight, making these a pretty nice overall speed boot

The Sole Plate:

The sole plate was a very thin and lightweight plastic design with circular studs throughout for added traction

Notes and Comments:

Overall, the Tokyo was a pretty nice speed boot for a bargain price by Asics. The upper wasn't anything overly complex, but it was lightweight and rather flexible with a nice touch
