The Upper:
- A blend of Flyknit and a synthetic upper with a dynamic sock collar
- The Superfly IV was also part of the first silo to feature the dynamic sock collar
- This was part of the Radiant Reveal pack, featuring a vibrant pinstripe design, one of the nicest textured uppers on the Superfly IV
The Sole Plate:
- The Superfly IV was the first Mercurial since the SF3 produced a few year before to feature a carbon fiber sole plate again
- After a brief hiatus, using a glass fiber design, the popular carbon fiber design was brought back
- This is the SG pro variant using a mix of SG and FG studs
